My Aunt (Charlotte, charmck@ix.netcom.com) has data that goes
back to the Baumgartener Book. If I'm reading this
correctly, her research indicates that my lineage is from the Lauperswil line:

John (Johanss) - 1794 - 1855
Ulrich - 1835-1909
Levi 1868-1946
Clayton - 1903 -1990
Corwin - 1947 to 2003.

2) Peter Wälti
Peter was born before February
28th, 1679 in Blindenbach and his baptism took place on February
28th, 1679 in Lauperswil.1 2 Peter's father was Peter
Wälti and his mother was Madlena Leuenberger.
His paternal grandfather is AAA Lauperswil Wälti.
He had two sisters named Elsbeth and Anna.
He was the youngest of the three children. He died about May 22nd, 1746.
Peter Wälti married Elsbeth Lüthi in
a religious ceremony on June 19th, 1705 in Signau.1 They had two sons and
three daughters, named Peter, Christen, Madlen, Cathrina and Elsbeth.

8th, 1707.1 Peter's father was Peter
Wälti and his mother was Elsbeth Lüthi. His
paternal grandparents were Peter
Wälti and Madlena Leuenberger.
He had a brother and three sisters, named Christen, Madlen, Cathrina and Elsbeth. He is the
second oldest of the five children.
Peter Wälti married Christina Brechbühl in a religious ceremony on February 9th, 1742 in Lauperswil.1 They had five sons and
a daughter, named Christen, Peter, Hans, Ulrich, Peter and Anna. Peter Wälti later married a second time, to Anna Kähr. Peter
and Anna were married in a religious ceremony on June 15th, 1755 in Burgdorf.1 They had four sons and
a daughter, named Peter, Samuel, Niclaus, David and Anna.
4) Niclaus Wälti Niclaus was born on January 13th, 1764 and his baptism took place on January
13th, 1764 in Vechigen.1 2 Niclaus'
father is Peter Wälti and his mother was Anna Kähr. His paternal grandparents were Peter
Wälti and Elsbeth Lüthi. He had three
brothers and a sister, named Peter,
Samuel, David
and Anna. He was the fourth oldest of the five
children. He had five half-brothers and a half-sister, named Christen, Peter,
Hans, Ulrich, Peter
and Anna. He died at the age of 70 on March 23rd,
1834.3 Niclaus Wälti married Christina Badertscher
were married in a religious
ceremony on May 19th, 1786 in Rüderswil.1 They had three sons and
two daughters, named Peter, Hans, Christen, Anna and Barbara.
