“Neither Weeden nor I are able to say whether or not Morris Jay had any siblings, full or half.  According to family history, Morris Jay's father was Asahel Benjamin Paddock Nichols and his mother was an actress named Anne Morris.  There is an apocryphal story about Anne showing up at Asahel's doorstep one day and handing over his baby to him, much to the surprise of Polly (possibly Jane) Nichols, Asahel's wife.  But I digress...
