6) John Nichols died January 1774 in King & Queen County, VA.  He married Anna who died in September 1774.  They had 8 children Anna, Jehu, Hannah, John, Mary, Humphrey, Jane, Peggy. 

 

5) Jehu Nichols was born before 1764 presumably in King & Queen County, Va and died about 1810 in Halifax County, VA.  He married Sarah Rains.  They had 2 children that we can prove John and Giles. Another possible child is William.

 

4) Giles Young Nichols was born December 1, 1797 and died January 7, 1878 in Halifax County, VA.  He married Nancy Chandler on July 12, 1824 in Halifax County, VA.  They had 6 children Sarah, William, James, Harriett, Giles Jr, Rebecca.  Giles was apparently very wealthy and operated a ferry in Halifax County, VA.

 

3) Giles Young Nichols, Jr. was born September 15, 1833 and died March 13, 1916 in Halifax County, VA.  He married Jane Legrand Watkins on July 3, 1856.  They had 5 children: Jennie, Sallie, Lucius, Charlie, Frank

 

2) Charlie Talcott Nichols Sr was born in the News Ferry section of Halifax County, VA and was 96 years old at death.
